The level of allergens can vary throughout the year or day. For example pollen, there is less around in rainy, cloudy or windless days.

What is Telfast indicated for?

Telfast is a non-sedating antihistamine and provides fast relief for the symptoms of:

  • Hayfever (seasonal {intermittent} allergic rhinitis) and year round allergies (perennial {persistent} allergic rhinitis). Symptoms include itchy, runny, blocked nose, sneezing and itchy, watery, red eyes.
  • Hives or nettle rash (urticaria). Symptoms include pink to red, itchy swellings on the skin.

Yes, Telfast is available in a Telfast Oral Liquid which has a raspberry flavour. This can be given to children for itchy skin/hives from 6 months of age and for hayfever allergies from 2 years of age. If you suspect your child is suffering from allergies, speak with your healthcare professional about what treatments may be appropriate for your child.
